I really enjoyed arranging this piece.  The simple-but-inspiring text suggests a journey; musically I thought a fantasia-like arrangement supported the idea.

This beautiful Polish carol has long resonated with me. Something about the steady climb of the melody and chord progression in the second part of the verse reminds me of eternal progression and speaks to my soul of hope and faith.
