Book List

There are many volumes I regularly turn to for guidance and clarification with musical technique and compositional theory, and many more still that inspire my creativity.  Here are a few of the best books, warmly recommend to musicians, artists, scholars, and seekers of truth.

Of course, no library stands complete without those works held sacred in one’s faith.  You will find many references to the standard works of my faith (including the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon) as well as words of wisdom from modern day prophets and church leaders.  Whatever your faith, I recommend a considered study of these works along with prayer or meditation; for it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we may know the truth of all things.
